Optimizing Parts and Components to Meet Unique Needs
Many of our clients require additional services to finish their parts and components before we ship them for final application. In order to better serve our clients, we’ve secured a series of vendor partners to ensure these services are completed with the same level of quality and integrity that drive our production teams. In doing so, we help our clients optimize their production schedules to meet their own customer demands.
Value Added Services to Meet Your Needs
When it comes to meeting client specifications, we work hard to ensure we have the capability and capacity to exceed expectations. Our clients often work with our account managers and production specialists to add on key services to the production of their parts and components to ensure they meet the needs of their application.
Our Value Added Services Include:
Blasting
Many times, the parts and components we develop require abrasive blasting to descale, smooth, roughen, round, deflash, debur, or to remove surface contaminants from the metal. This is especially important when resurfacing a part or component to ensure there is no debris or irregularities. At Sjoberg Tool, we can include custom, expert blasting services to any part or component project if needed.
Plating
We use plating in instances where parts or components may need additional protection against corrosion, to enhance their strength, and to ensure proper paint adhesion. These services are available to all Sjoberg Tool clients.
Powder Coating, E-Coat, & Wet Paint
We often add painting or powder coating to complete parts and components for our partner OEMs. On top of making a more aesthetically appealing piece, our powder coating and painting services offer a more resistant surface that reduces the risk of scratches, abrasion, fading, chipping, and corrosion. This also allows for custom branding through the application of custom color.
Waterjet Cutting
We also offer waterjet cutting, when needed, for materials like metals, plastics, foam, and composites. Using waterjet cutting, we can cut sharp corners, holes, and complex shapes with ease.
